Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Q. How long has the company been in business?
A. We've been in business since 1981 which means we have almost 40 years of experience in construction work.
Q. How many employees work for Bob Bryfogle & Son?
A. Our company consists of the owner Dennis, his wife who works in the office, and his son and daughter-in-law who work along side him. We make a really good team. Everyone on the job site knows what's going on and the steps that are to happen.
Q. Do you build new homes?
A. Yes, we build new homes. However, we specialize in additions and remodeling and prefer them because we are a small and more personal company. We are set up to do them better because the smaller projects need someone who is more involved.

Q. What is the cost comparison of a house vs an addition?
A. Additions cost more per square foot because the space is smaller but the project includes most of the same expensive aspects that a house has. It goes through the same steps and inspections.
Q. How much time does it take you to build an addition?
A. On average, it will take 3 months to complete once we break ground. The time it takes will depend on how involved your particular project is.
Q. If I have a question, are you easy to get a hold of?
A. We will be there working most everyday once your project begins. We will be in contact with you every steps of the way. Because we are there so much, communication is easy and constant which allows the project to progress seamlessly.

Q. Is remodeling worth it?
A. Remodeling is more difficult than building new because you never know what you may run into. That does not mean you shouldn't do it, remodeling is always done to your preference and will make a big difference to your home.
Q. How long will my project take?
A. Remodeling varies so much from project to project that it is hard to know. We will be honest and upfront with you about the project as it progresses. Open communication makes working with us a stressless experience.
Q. Can I make changes as I go?
A. Our aim is for your complete satisfaction at the end of the job so we are always willing to make changes to accommodate you. By working with a small company, it is easier to make changes because the man on the job site is the man in charge.
